After Ronald and Li Wanruo had walked over to the side of the casino and arrived to where Grant had gotten blown off to...

"Grant is your friend?" Li Wanruo was taken aback after seeing that Grant was the friend that Ronald was referring to.

In her previous life, while she had still been working alongside with Ye Fan, she recalled that one of the people that Ye Fan had actually made enemies out of was Grant, one of the other four Gods of War from the Western World.

And Grant, unlike all of the other enemies Ye Fan had gone against before, was the first ever person to give Ye Fan an extremely rough time.

Not only was Grant's background extremely grandiose and was almost as compareable to Ye Fan's background, but Grant was actually significantly much stronger than Ye Fan that not even 5 Ye Fans would stand a chance when they had first encountered him.

Of course, with all of the cumulative efforts of her and all of the girls that Ye Fan had met with previously, they had managed to barely pull through and defeat Grant in the end with tremendous amounts of losses.

Luckily, or well unluckily now, none of the girls didn't actually die while fighting against Grant.

"Yep, although we've met just about a few hours ago, me and him have already became really good friends." Ronald then poured out the cup of water he had grabbed right onto Grant's face.

And then after waiting for a few more seconds...

"Is... is this heaven?" Grant slowly opened both of his eyelids and then stared at Ronald.

"What the hell? Why does this angel look exactly like Ronald? I must be in purgatory instead." Grant grumbled.

"Bro, you're still alive. Did you lose braincells after getting flicked on the head that hard?" Ronald chuckled.

"Oh... did you say that I got flicked on the head? The last thing that I could remember actually happening before I had blacked out was that I was rushing up at him to kill that that son of a bitch." Grant rubbed his forehead for a bit before realizing that there was a ton of blood dripping down from his forehead.

"Yeah, he flicked your head and then sent you flying completely out of the casino. Need me to take you to the hospital?" Seeing that Grant's forehead was dripping quite a bit of blood, Ronald offered to lend him a hand.

"Nah, I'm fine. I'll get some of my subordinates to take me to the nearest hospital instead. Give me your contact information so I can ask you some more questions about poker later." Grant pulled out his phone and then exchanged contact informations with Ronald.

"Alright, good luck man. Text me the hospital you're staying at and I'll come visit you whenever I have a chance to." After exchanging contact informations with Grant and making sure that Grant wasn't going to bleed out to death, Ronald waved goodbye to Grant and then followed Li Wanruo back to her car.

"This is where you're staying at, right?" Li Wanruo parked infront of the Gu's family manor and then asked Ronald.

"Yep, thanks." Ronald opened the car door and then got prepared to step out of the vehicle.

But just as Ronald was about to step out of the car door however, Li Wanruo suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him back down onto the passenger car seat.

So he turned his head and faced towards Li Wanruo.

She knew that she couldn't just follow around with Ronald everywhere he went, since he has his own life to live as well, but knowing that he would always somehow get into trouble a lot, she was worried for Ronald's safety and well being that she definitely couldn't be at ease at all unless if she was actually there with Ronald.

But after he had calmed her down, promised to her that she can go look after him if he doesn't show back to the house exactly 12 hours later, and reassured her that everything was going to be okay, Iris reluctantly compromised.

While Iris was still counting in her head however, the front doors to the Gu family manor opened up.

And after seeing that Ronald was safe and sound...

"Welcome back, Young Master!" Iris ran up to Ronald and embraced him.

"Hey Iris." Ronald quickly changed the cold expression he had on his face before Iris could notice and then continiously patted her head in order to calm her down.

"Sorry...Young Master." After letting go of him, Iris blushed and bowed her head down.

Ever since she had felt Ronald's warm embrace yesterday, she had started to get addicted to that warm feeling, and so she couldn't help but hug Ronald again in order to feel that warmth from Ronald once more.

"No worries, did anything important happen while I was gone?" Ronald asked nonchalantly while making his way upstairs back towards his room.

"Umm... besides Luna coming over to the Gu family manor this afternoon and frantically looking around the manor for a bit, nothing important happened, Young Master."

"Fuck... Luna didn't do anything to the Gu family, right?" Ronald immediately stopped walking and asked Iris in a nervous manner.

Even though he didn't really care about anyone in the Gu family besides his friend, Gu Chengsheng, he was afraid that Luna had done something bad to the Gu family and inadvertently ruin his future plots.

After all, he still needs the entire Gu family alive in order to actually progress to his future plots.

"I don't think so... Young Master." Iris said with uncertainty.

"Uhh... okay." Since Ronald was extremely mentally exhausted, he decided not to pursue the matter any further and started to walk towards his bedroom again.

'Wow, today was extremely tiring.'

'Well, on the bright side of things, at least I, a random minor villain in the story, managed to get rid of Ling Feng, who is a protagonist.'

'Now I can sleep peacefully knowing that he won't interfere with the future plots.'
