"What do you want, Li Wanruo?" Ronald nervously turned back around and said in a harsh voice while thinking how he was going to explain all of this to her.

"I don't really care what had actually happened here, as long as you're okay, then that's all it matters." Li Wanruo scanned around the venue with an uninterested look on her face for a brief second and then turned her head back towards Ronald.

"Oh... okay." Ronald sighed with relief.

Even though Ronald didn't know if Li Wanruo was aware of his strength or not, as long as he doesn't have to explain to Li Wanruo about the entire situation, then there was perhaps still a chance that he could still continue to hide his strength from Li Wanruo.

The reason why he had taken up on Li Wanruo's offer was because he didn't actually go to the casino in a car to begin with, so it would look extremely suspicious in Li Wanruo's eyes if he had somehow made it back to the Gu family manor without driving back at all.

Of course, Ronald could've just taken a taxi back to the family manor, but since it was extremely late at night, most taxi services most likely wouldn't be available at this time.
