Chapter 3 The Trade Show

As evening slowly approached, Ronald pulled up to the grand entrance of the trade show and stared at the massive building for a bit.

Even though he had already been fully prepared to officially start his role as a third-rate rich second-generation villain once again, he knew of the hell that awaited him.

Thankfully, all of the rewards that he had obtained from the system by following the plots in his previous life had transferred over to this current life as well, so he won't physically suffer this time around no matter what.

Besides, he was completely used to everything by now.

This means that there will be absolutely nothing in this life that will ever deject him from successfully completing his role as a villain and returning back to earth!

After motivating himself, Ronald walked past the security guards, who didn't stop and search him at all since they knew who he was, and he finally entered the building.

'What? She isn't here yet?' Ronald looked at the exhibition stand in front of him, which was easily 5 times bigger than the second biggest exhibition stand in the trade show, and not seeing Luna anywhere amidst her employees at all, Ronald frowned.@@@@

Ronald still remembers that his first encounter with Ye Fan in his last life was when he first stepped into the trade show and saw Luna and the protagonist casually talking with each other while they were waiting for her employees to finish setting up her exhibition stand.

This sight would then make Ronald completely enraged as he loved Luna dearly, and so after he gave his gift to Luna, he began causing trouble and yelling at Ye Fan for daring to even having the balls to talk to her.

Luna would then stand up for Ye Fan and berate Ronald for having no talent and being a useless rich second generation that does nothing except rely on his family background.

Ronald, being an absolute simp and dog licker he was, didn't retaliate against Luna and could only "secretly" pay off people in this trade show to humiliate Ye Fan as much as possible.

This would give Ye Fan an opportunity to prove his worth to Luna, start making a name for himself in China, and embarrass Ronald right in front of the whole venue. Killing three birds with one stone.

The rest is history after that.

Don't get him wrong though, even if he admires her beauty and charm a lot, he doesn't even love her in the slightest.

Why? It's because Luna was one of those typical icey cold female presidents that would always place their business as their number 1 priority and aren't interested in any other man besides the protagonist.

Besides, even with the original Ronald's pure love and absolute dedication towards her, she still didn't feel moved in the slightest and ruined his life.

Those things don't matter for the current Ronald however as he just wants to finish his role as the villain and go back to earth.

Ronald started running towards Luna and executed his lines.

"Hey Luna, pleasant surprise seeing you here! I bought yo-"

All of a sudden Luna started shedding tears from her eye and wrapped her whole arms around him tightly as if she was afraid he was going to go somewhere.

For a brief moment, everyone just stood there dumbfounded not even daring to make a sliver of sound while trying to process what they were witnessing before their very eyes, as if time was completely frozen.

Ronald also didn't dare to breathe at this point...

'What.'

'Was this part of the plot?'

'Where is the protagonist? Wasn't he supposed to be Luna's personal bodyguard for tonight? How am I suppose to get face slapped by him if he isn't here?'

'What in the actual fuck is going on?'

'Maybe I have gone crazy after all.'
