Chapter 190: Blaize vs Meruem
Meeting the punch head-on, Blaize's face changed for a moment as powerful force traveled from the King's strike and pushed him back.
His figure skidded back a meter before stopping. Even before Blaize could stabilize his body, Meruem dashed forward and whipped with his powerful tail.
Seeing the future with his Observation Haki, Blaize calmly leaned back his head, evading the tail that whizzed past his face. At the same time, he attacked the latter by blasting a powerful aura from his right hand, taking the King by surprise.
At such a close distance, Meruem couldn't dodge the attack. The aura blast banged his stomach and sent him flying far away.
But, the strike did little to do damage. Unfazed by the attack, the latter madly charged forward, exploding with cent percent of his aura and face full of excitement.
'He's fast!' Blaize thought. The next moment, golden lightning sparkles covered his entire body that heightened his speed, rivaling the King.
'Bang!' 'Bang!' 'Bang!'

The speed of Blaize and Meruem was beyond what the human eye could follow. In a matter of minutes, both of them exchanged thousands of moves.
If not for Blaize's Observation Haki, the King would have injured him multiple times.
Though the King has just been born, his reaction and fighting skills are on another level, as if he's practicing them for decades. Without a doubt, the chimera ants' long evolution has pinnacled in him.
He's a perfect Chimera Ant with immeasurable strength and innate talent.
The scary thing is, the King's skills were growing at an alarming rate. In no time, he got accustomed to Blaize's future prediction; his moves were getting unpredictable and erratic.
Blaize gets the feeling of being cornered. 'I have to stop falling into his rhythm.' But before he could do anything, he sensed King's next attack and crossed both his hands to block.
"Bang!"

As Blaize and King started their next round of battle, Netero engaged in a fierce fight with Pitou.
Though Netero's aura output is incomparable to that of the Royal Guard, he was able to fight on par with the latter with his Nen ability: 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Furthermore, Pitou exhausted her Nen and was injured slightly before the fight by Blaize's previous attack.
Pitou wanted to destroy the human before him and help the King, but the latter's ability didn't allow her to do as she wishes.
On the other hand, Morel, Knov, and Kite watched the battles from far away, keeping some distance. As for Shaiapouf, he was imprisoned by Morel's smoke jail.
Since the former is injured heavily and reduced in size, he won't be able to break the smoke with his current strength.
"Sigh! Both of them are monsters to be able to fight those things. If we fight them alone we won't even survive a few minutes!" Morel spoke.
"Just the Royal Guard's ominous Nen alone scares and makes me shudder." Knov shook his head.
"Thankfully, we destroyed the other Chimera ants and acted in time. If we had given them more time, it could have resulted in a severe problem." Kite expressed his thought while Morel and Knov agreed.
"I don't know whether that young man can deal with the King. The King is far stronger than anything I have heard! His aura is far more dangerous than the Royal Guards!" Morel spoke.
"Let's wait and see. Chairman has already planned for the worst outcome! So even if the King emerges as the victor, he can't escape!"
