'What... how am I not dead?' After being unconscious for about an entire day now, Ye Fan slowly opened his eyes and thought to himself.

Fearing that the masked figure was the one who had chained him up to the wall, Ye Fan tried his best to yank and rip the chains off of him, but failed to do so since these weren't any ordinary chains.

This made Ye Fan more certain that the masked figure was the one who had chained him up to the wall.

So he tried to scan around the area he was currently in and see if he could use anything to his advantage to help him break free from these chains.

However, the area or room he was in was too dark that he couldn't see anything at all despite having a much better vision than a normal person.

So with all of that in mind, after she threw a pill that's meant to cause immeasurable pain without killing someone into Ye Fan's mouth, and then quickly left before she could hear Ye Fan could scream his lungs out and went out to go find Ronald again.
