Chapter 132 Jade Factory (3)
Chapter 132 Jade Factory (3)
"A fucking Bloodfire Ruby?!" Gu Changsheng suddenly shouted out with a mixture of both shock and anger in his tone.
Considering that he has seen images and read a lot about the Bloodfire Ruby in his family records back when his father used to force him to read those things as a child, it wasn't really a surprise that he had recognize it right away.
"Oh, so you know what it is?" Ye Fan was slightly surprised that this brainless idiot even knew what this gemstone was and let out a chuckle.
"Of course I do! I'm not the Young Master of the almighty Gu family for nothing!" Gu Changsheng briefly forgot about the situation he was currently in and arrogantly boasted proudly about his family name as he always does.
However, he was soon brought back to reality after hearing Ye Fan's next remarks.
"If that's the case then you should know exactly how much this Bloodfire Ruby is worth, right?" Ye Fan smirked smugly.
"..." Gu Changsheng didn't immediately respond back and instead showed a darkened look on his face in response.
After all, he already knew that the Bloodfire Ruby that Ye Fan had obtained could easily go for over 100 million yuan if sold to the right person, while the Imperial Glass Jade he had acquired was worth a measly 20 million yuan at best.
This meant that he had actually just lost to Ye Fan once again and must now kowtow down to him as a result.
But how could he ever possibly accept this?
It was already hard and embarrassing enough when he was forced by his father to do it the first time, but now he's got to do it again, and in front of all 400 of the people he's hired no less?
No way in hell!
He'd rather eat horse shit instead than go through with this humiliation!
Besides, it's not like he has to actually follow through on the agreement and kowtow to Ye Fan anyways.
Upon hearing Gu Changsheng's statement, everyone immediately went into a frenzy and began charging at Ye Fan with no hesitation at all.
As such, Ye Fan could only get into a fighting stance and hope for the best.
Right before Ye Fan was about to throw his first punch out however, an electrical buzz rang throughout the entire factory and soon enough...
Snap!
All of the lights in the factory suddenly went off.
To make matters worse, it started raining all of a sudden and the dark clouds completely covered up the sky, which caused the entire factory to turn pitch black.
Since everyone here was at least a trained fighter to some capacity though, nobody really made a commotion or panicked at this occurrence.
So everyone calmly took a step back and all locked their eyes on Ye Fan's silhouette as they waited for the employees and the ones guarding outside to go figure out what was going on.
And after about a quick minute later, the backup power was successfully turned on.
When the lights did return to normal however, instead of seeing Ye Fan standing at the spot they all had presumed him to be at, all they saw was a huge boulder instead.
And as if that wasn't a bad enough look on them already...
"Where did my Imperial Glass Jade go?"
"..."
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEE FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!"
