Chapter 118 Unfortunate Hospital Encounter

"What do you guys think you're doing! Drop your guns immediately! We're inside a hospital right now, innocent civilians can get hurt!" Upon seeing the guns being drawn at them, Lai Ho shouted ferociously.

However, seeing that Ronald, Grant, and the 3 gunmens who had their guns drawn out didn't reply back to Lai Ho but still silently glared at them, Ling Feng briefly glanced at Lai Ho and shook his head, indicating that Lai Ho shouldn't say anything that might provoke them even further.

Out of all of the possible outcomes that could've happened after Ling Feng had gotten saved from the brink of death, this was probably one of the worst outcomes yet.

After all, Ling Feng didn't have any time to cultivate at all and yet he has somehow managed to meet Ronald out of all people, once again.

There was honestly just no way that their current predicament couldn't get any worse than this.

Ling Feng suddenly did a roundhouse kick and hitted a shadowy figure out of nowhere.

The shadowy figure who had managed to block Ling Feng's kick with his black dagger quickly backed off of Ling Feng and blocked the other side of the hallway, making it so that Ling Feng's group was completely trapped on both sides of the hallway.

Afterwards, 4 assassins that were all wearing black assassin cloaks and face masks all suddenly appeared behind the man who had tried to backstab Ling Feng.

Ye Fan, Lai Meiyun, and Lai Ho, upon seeing that Ling Feng suddenly kicked something behind them, all turned around and to their horror, there was another group of 5 people also right behind them.

But what shocked all of them the most was that they didn't even notice the presence of the five figures at all!

If it wasn't for Ling Feng that had suddenly did a roundhouse kick, they would've undoubtedly been all stabbed in the back by now.

Ling Feng couldn't help but stare at the shadowy figure that had tried to backstab him with an expressionless look on his eye.

While Ling Feng wasn't too familiar with the assassin scene all that much, he knew exactly who the shadowy figure was.

Kedron, codenamed "The Crazed Reaper," the lowest ranked assassin on the list of Immortals.

"Why? This belongs to m-"

"Hurry up and give it to me if you want us to make it out of here alive." Ling Feng stated in an urgent voice.

"..." Ye Fan didn't bother arguing back but quickly removed the jade pendant off of his neck and handed it over to Ling Feng.

After Ling Feng recieved the pendant, the pendant had started to glow bright green all of a sudden.

"QUICKLY SHOOT THAT FUCKER DOWN!" Seeing that Ling Feng was doing something weird with the pendant, Grant hurriedly shouted out.

"..." Kedron, who had also noticed Ling Feng doing something odd, didn't say anything but immediately dashed in with his men following right behind him in order to prevent Ling Feng from doing anything else.

Just before either the bullets from the guns or Kedron could reach Ling Feng however...

BOOM!

An explosion occurred suddenly out of nowhere and a wall of fire had appeared on both sides of the hallway, preventing anyone to get closer to Ling Feng and everyone else near him.

Kedron, who was just right outside of the wall of fire, quickly reached his hand through the fire, which only slightly burned his hand, and managed to grab someone out of the wall of fire, causing that person's entire body to burn up.

Luckily however, the person that Kedron had grabbed didn't die, as the moment smoke had risen from the fire wall, the sprinklers from the ceiling of the hospital started to sprinkle water, quickly putting all of the fire out.

Then after all the fire had been put out, and the smoke was visible enough to be seen through, everyone besides Ronald couldn't help but get slightly shocked.

Why?

Because there was noticeably a big hole on the side of the wall, and everyone from Ling Feng's side had completely disappeared.
