The Huntsman Of Death:A Gamer's POV As Side Character

Chapter 39 41:The Crimson Witch

Chapter 39 41:The Crimson Witch

"How did you get here?" Saber shouted, stepping back, clearly traumatized by the grim memory of her beating him to a pulp.

"I have been here quite early." The crimson-haired woman cracked her head with a smile and spoke with a hint of amusement.

"It seems you have forgotten the beating I gave earlier..."

"Nooo!" Saber's whole body shivered, and he looked at me with a pleading gaze.

GULP!

I swallowed my saliva, seeing the bloody apparition behind Saber reshaping into a ghostly, blood-soaked figure.

The voice, the appearance, and the figure—I had already discerned it, but seeing it materialize, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

'Is this my good luck or bad luck?'

'Whatever it is, since I was given a chance, I should turn this into an opportunity.'

Looking at Saber, I said, "Saber, show some courtesy to her. After all, you are greeting none other than the Crimson Witch."

"WHAT!" Saber screamed, receiving one of the greatest shocks of his life.

Rotating his gaze between me and the Crimson Witch, he immediately kneeled on the floor, hit his head on the ground, and begged for mercy.

"Your Highness, please forgive me for my discourtesy. The crime I committed can't be washed away for a generation, but knowing your humble, gentle, and kind self, you must find it easy to forgive this ant for stepping over his boundaries."

The more Saber spoke, the more absurd it became. Saber was so terrified that he might fall unconscious due to fear.

He might act nonchalant, but he cared for his life greatly. After all, does anyone in the whole Demon Land not know her?

She is none other than the Princess and dear daughter of the Demon King. One must certainly have a death wish to mistreat her.

Both mine and the Crimson Witch's faces faltered for a moment.

I never knew the almighty Saber was capable of such boot-licking skills with such eloquence. If the Huntsman Saber in the game saw this, he might die of a heart attack.

"Hmm! Now that you know, I will forgive you."

After that, she ignored him and looked at me.

"You... Since you know my identity, why don't you bow your head?"

"Will you be happy if I do that? Isn't it too troublesome and pretentious?" I asked with a smile.

She was a bit quirky, hot-blooded, and someone who disliked pretentious behavior and manners. Leaving that aside, she was easy to get along with if you could draw her interest—which I certainly did.

"I assume you aren't asking about my identity but rather about something else. But before that, I hope you can also answer why you are here, 'cause I am sure you didn't get a signal and come running here, Princess Morgana."

.......

Morgana's expression changed as she saw a smirk in the boy's eyes.

'Why does he look so confident? And those gazes... It's like he's meeting someone familiar.'

She had her fair share of experience meeting people, and many either ran away in fear, unable to meet her gaze, or tried to get close to her.

But those who tried to familiarize themselves with her were the people standing at the peak of society. So why does a normal person like him give her such an odd feeling?

The calmness coming from him was unsettling, saying that age can be deceptive.

"It's not much of a secret. The slave trader had sent your photos to people who wanted a manservant to serve them. My friend has taken a liking to your look, and as I was around her, she asked me to fetch you. But who knew such a trade would strike this place."

A hint of sadness flashed in her eyes that didn't go unnoticed by Lukas.

Lukas fell into deep thought for a moment.

'Friend... If she is talking about that friend, I assume it might be that woman from the Lust Clan.'

Thinking this, his expression worsened.

'Fuck, didn't that mean I was just a few steps away from becoming a boy toy and getting a sugar mommy?'

'No... Wait a minute...'

Lukas's eyes widened as the chilling realization settled in.

He was still in trouble.

Noticing a change in expression, Morgana continued, "And what did I see after coming here?"

"A boy rolling on the ground in pain, but do you know what was more surprising than that?"

"What?" Lukas asked with a straight expression.

"It's his body absorbing the energy of the abyss. So..."

Pausing a bit, she appeared over Lukas, releasing her pressure that made her hair float up.

"Tell me, who are you for real?"
