After the recent attack, the once-massive technological city of Illuminus was now barely recognizable, with only a small strip of land left around the central lab. It was now less than a tenth of its original size.
It was just a small island, so they reached the shore quickly.
Taking the Star Princess, parked in front of the abandoned lab, they arrived at the coastline in less than thirty seconds.
"I see something out there, but... what is it?"
"I can’t quite tell. I know there’s something there, though."
Rafinha and Leone, both raised inland, and Mais, who grew up in the Highland, all gazed in wonder at these animals they were seeing for the first time.
"Ah, those are dolphins...!"
Liselotte, the only one raised near the sea, recognized them immediately.
"Dolphins? Ohhh!"
"This is my first time seeing them up close!"

Mais, brimming with excitement, asked as he looked at the dolphins.
"Yes, they’re not shying away. They might even be interested in us."
"Alright, I’ll lower us onto the water!"
Rafinha brought the Star Princess down close to the water's surface, cutting its engine so it floated gently, bobbing on the waves.
The flygear was designed to float, although they had been cautioned at the Knight Academy that it wasn’t advisable due to potential malfunctions. But today was a special occasion.
The dolphins showed no fear of the lowered vessel, swimming closer within arm's reach.
"Go ahead, Mais, give it a try.”
"Okay... I’ll be gentle.”
He said, extending a slightly nervous hand toward the dolphin.
"Oh, it’s so smooth! It feels like a wet eggplant. So cute!"
Beside him, Rafinha was already petting another dolphin with enthusiasm, her hands exploring its slick surface. The dolphin didn’t seem to mind—in fact, it almost looked like it was smiling in delight.
"Then I’ll try too! Wow, it’s so soft!"
"You’re right! It’s amazing how friendly they are."
Leone added, smiling as she gently touched a dolphin herself.
