Primordial Soul's Rebirth

CHAPTER 370 - Phoenixia and Rewards.

CHAPTER 370 - Phoenixia and Rewards.

Alice was surely growing stronger in the place she was in, and Alex believed that Sophia wouldn't let it be if Alice's life were to be in real danger.

But was he going to let it be?

Nope.

No matter how good of a place Alice was in and no matter how strong she got, Alex was sure that she would prefer staying with him instead of that place.

Even if she didn't, Alex could just make her stronger than she could ever get while being trapped in that place.

In a minimal amount of time as well, especially after the reward he got from killing Lokiath.

The process was rated as one of the best ways to do it, giving Alex a lot of rewards.

Lots of it.

Yes, it was in quantity and not in quality, but the sheer number of items he got was enough to make him not buy some of these things anytime soon; the points he got were just an add-on.

[Stat upgrade potion X1000]

[Bloodline upgrade potion X100]

[Skill upgrade potion X100]

[Accessory upgrade rune X50]

[Random skill book card X10]

These were the rewards he got along with 200,000,000 points.

It was a lot, right?

But it was not actually that much, as it could be used pretty quickly if Alex wanted to.

These cards were rankless, meaning they could be used by anyone to upgrade their skill, stats, and accessories.

The base upgrade they gave, however, was equal to an EX-rank upgrade.

For example, if one were to try upgrading their stats when they are at A-rank, it will directly shoot up to EX-rank, as that is the minimum boost it can give.

But the main thing is after EX-rank.

Once you cross the EX-rank and reach Epic rank, every stat upgrade will require around 10 potions.

For legendary rank, one needs to consume 20 potions to elevate their rank by one, and for mythical rank, 30 potions.

So, in a way, these potions were not that many.

The one thing that was not normal among these things was the last item—The random skill book card.

That thing was like a lottery; one could get a mythical skill, a skill with rank above mythical or maybe higher, or they might just draw an F-ranked skill out of it.

Now, here comes another limitation.

The chances of drawing a skill above the user's rank kept decreasing the higher one went; 0.01 percent for a rank higher, 0.001 for another rank higher, 0.0001 for the next one, and so on.

So, it was all fine, and it was Alex himself who stopped the war by saying that both parties had lost a son and both parties were blaming one another for their son's murder, so with no one proof of anything, the war will be suspended for an indefinite amount of time.

Only when one finds proof against the other will there be any other listening on this case.

Now some will want to know where the recording went—the recording that Alex had sent to the king of Noxviel.

It was, by Alex's order, destroyed by Azaroth.

Alex, after hearing Azaroth's words, soon nodded his head, giving the guy the permission he needed.

"Un."

The next instant, with his head still bowed, Azaroth disappeared from the spot he was standing at.

He was the one who brought them here after all.

He was their free space-traveling vehicle that needed nothing to operate.

'Teleportation sure is convenient...'

A thought appeared in his mind, and now he wanted to learn teleportation as soon as possible.

{Sigh...}

Sophia, who heard his thoughts, sighed in defeat.

If someone were to know that Alex wanted to learn teleportation, they would say that it would take time, but she knew that now that he had made up his mind, it would take him no longer than 2 tries to successfully start teleporting from one place to another.

"Is this where Alice is?"

Ann, on the other hand, was more worried about her best friend's condition.

Alex, after getting the information about Alice's situation, told both Ann and Noctura about it, as he judged the situation to not be that bad, and their reactions were not much out of his predictions.

Noctura relaxed completely after she heard his words, not having a shred of worry left in her mind.

But Ann, just like him, was worried about Alice.

No matter how minimal the risks were, the risk was still there, right?

The fact that Alex hadn't told Ann about Sophia and everything about his all-powerful system didn't help in this situation as well.

If Ann knew the capabilities of the system and Sophia, then she wouldn't be this worried.

"Yes, and don't worry, we will soon meet her."

Alex, who heard her question, turned toward her with a reassuring expression, hiding the worry he himself felt.

"Un."

Ann nodded her head, trying to not show her worry anymore as she knew that Alex wasn't much better than her.

No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't hide his feelings from Ann's sharp eyes.

With that, they descended down to the capital city, still undetected by anyone and everyone.
