Chapter 200 Youth And Heat
"This is where the defiler's took off into the seas a few days ago, or so I have heard, the people that we thrown around by them were touched by the fire and are no good to ask about it right now" speaking sternly, Pierre-Ornée stood in front of the three unwanted presences, the name otherworlders were referred to as.
They had managed to get a good lead on the movements of the heretic leader, but unfortunately, diplomacy meant that Halbardier Pierre-Ornée, said to be amongst the strongest this continent had to offer, tightly affiliated with a king, he couldn't just walk around other nations without warning them about his arrival, that would be problematic.
The entire process had gotten the four of them a bit late, allowing the defilers to take off onto the ocean.

"Well, there is nothing that we can do about it then..." William, the blond unwanted gifted with a great affinity with light magic, expressed his thoughts, at this point, they might as well head back and start dealing with the defiler's still popping around instead.
Toby, the unwanted given the very rare present of a system with special functions, his system was actually no different than the rest, the system was singular, but this boy had been granted access to capabilities usually wholly barred from the rest of the population.
Namely, the ability to gaze into the status of others, as long as they weren't too much stronger than himself, so at the moment, it was not very useful.
The real boon was the simple access to system skills and other assets, this particular otherworlder was a bit busy on sightseeing at the moment.
"I mean, we could take another boat, could we not?" Ilona, sole girl of the trio remarked, pointing at a great vessel just waiting to be taken through dangers of the deep ocean, she herself had been taken to this world and given an affinity for the four most basic elements, fire, wind, earth and water, having many affinities might sound good, but it only meant that she had much more to learn and the study of magic and mana for someone coming from a world completely lacking in it was a rather steep hurdle to overcome.
She had to learn from scratch, lower than a denizen of this world, which was why both her and William were barely able to use their magic at the moment.
"Mister Pierre-Ornée is a cruel teacher, I can't talk to pretty women..." Toby felt even more stressed than when he was unsuspectedly warped into a fantasy world whilst vacuuming his room, as a young man that spent most of his education learning from behind a computer screen, his social skills were rather lacking.
"I feel like I should be offended by that" Ilona raised an eyebrow at that remark, looking over at William, who wasn't faring much better, mumbling about tanned abs.
Her two friendly associates were utterly worthless in this particular battle, she was not much more competent in this sort of social interaction, but she had more balls, figuratively speaking.
And so, Ilona stepped up in their stead, and walked up to the one with the most prominent mammary growths.
"Excuse me, would you happen to have been around when a ship was stolen here, a few days ago?"
The woman looked up from what she had been doing, which was endlessly shining a green-bladed katana like it was the most precious thing in the world.
She looked over at her three friends before responding.
"Yeah, what is it about?" she hugged her sword.
"What direction did they take, a-approximately?" Ilona stuttered a bit, a bit mesmerised by the sight of the thick blade getting in between the two great mounds, the otherworlders eyes visibly dilating.
Receiving her answer, Ilona quickly bid her farewell and retreated before she got any redder than she currently was.
'Oof, that took restraint to not say anything out of line...'
