Chapter 471 Don't play with threats
Chapter 471 Don't play with threats
"Honestly, we're a bit surprised by your performance on this side of the multiverse," White said with an enigmatic smile, sitting at a table that seemed to float, as if defying gravity, in the vast celestial space they were in. Around them, entire universes spread out, floating like spheres of shimmering energy, each representing a distinct reality, as if they were distant stars.
Dante, immersed in that surreal vision, was not impressed. He kept his gaze firm, defiant, watching the two Administrators.
"I'd like to know why," he said, his voice carrying a calmness that contrasted with the inner chaos still burning in his chest.
Black paused, his silhouette standing out in the cosmic darkness. "Our initial plan was to create Absolute Chaos, a being with the power to face... that person."
Dante furrowed his brow, recognizing the reference. "Angra Mainyu," he spoke, a bitter memory of a treacherous dragon that had betrayed him in his previous life.
White nodded, her eyes gleaming with a touch of amusement. "Yes, exactly. Angra Mainyu. We needed something... more, to face such a threat. But, as always, things didn't go as planned." She looked at Black, who continued, his tone more serious.
"We've had many problems over the last several thousand stellar years. We started testing more and more things until we decided to create test sectors to mold powerful beings," Black explained, with a hint of exhaustion in his voice, as if that desperate move had already cost more than they had imagined.
White leaned forward, her crooked smile showing that she was enjoying the situation. "Our goal was to create absolute beings, like you, Dante. But of course, all of this had its... complications."
Dante observed them both with suspicion, their words echoing in his mind. "And these problems..." he began, still looking at the holograms that now filled the environment, showing the chaos in the sectors they were manipulating.
Black raised his hand, and a giant hologram appeared, displaying wars, destruction, and uprisings happening on an epic scale. "Six sectors have rebelled, seven have been destroyed, one hundred and twenty are being slowly dominated. One million two hundred are at mercy, and of course, the test sectors are also starting to realize the disparity of problems their universes are facing."
"So it was as I thought..." Dante murmured, understanding the scenario. He eyed them suspiciously. "You created several sectors with no main functions, just to mold powerful beings... you're creating an army."
White smiled enigmatically, but her tone was firm. "It's not an army, unfortunately. The Judges didn't approve of that." She let out a deep sigh, as if the lack of approval was a constant frustration. "If they had approved, history would have been different, but the council was against it."
"Council?" Dante asked, raising an eyebrow, intrigued.
"Positivity, Negativity, the Judges, Death, and of course... Infinity," White replied with a tone of reverence, as if these beings were more than just names to be feared.
Dante thought for a moment. "So... if they're against it, that means..." he began, starting to grasp the gravity of the situation.
"That the war is balanced, in a way," Black finished with a grim, calculated smile. "And, no matter how much we try to manipulate the course of events, there are forces beyond our control. The council doesn't allow power to concentrate on just one side. That... creates a dangerous balance."
Dante crossed his arms, staring intently at the Administrators as their words echoed in his mind. He knew he wasn't just another piece in this cosmic game, but the implications of the choices he would have to make were becoming clearer.
"Where do I fit into all of this?" Dante asked, his tone filled with a mix of skepticism and indifference. He had faced great enemies and challenges in his life, but this game between the Administrators seemed to be on a whole different level.
Black began to speak, but White interrupted him with an enigmatic smile.
"Well, considering who you are...," Black started, his gaze seeming to weigh Dante up and down.
The words floated in the air, and the environment seemed to pulse with Dante's divine energy. He was no longer just reacting to the Administrators; he was taking control of the situation. His words were accompanied by an immense, uncontrollable power.
"Causality Nullification, Control Nullification, Restructuring..." Dante began to command, his voice resonating like an absolute order.
White tried to react, rushing toward Dante, but before she could make a single move, a notification appeared before her.
[Administrator Function temporarily suspended.]
White read the message, incredulous, as the control she thought she had over the situation crumbled.
Dante looked at her, his eyes burning with fury. "Daughter of !@$!@$$@!, don't underestimate me." His voice was a muffled roar of rage, like thunder on the verge of exploding. The tension in the room was palpable, the air thick with Dante's aura.
He then turned to the two, who were now completely out of their control zone, and continued: "The problem with you Administrators is that sometimes you think you're invincible. You forget that beings like me, who have lived longer than you, know exactly how to deal with beings like you."
The threat hung in the air, heavy and menacing, as Dante's power grew exponentially.
"Threats will not be tolerated." He finished, his voice resonating with the authority of a being who was no longer willing to be manipulated or controlled. The very space around them seemed to bend to his will.
"When I regained my memories, I thought... I'll keep my old look and my old self to avoid causing problems for anyone, I tried to pretend I wasn't the Dragon Progenitor or at least show that those memories hadn't changed me... But you know, children." Dante said, changing his tone. "Pretending is a drag." He said, looking at White, who trembled.
"Dragons are proud beings who don't bow." He began, "You really thought, after all these years, after everything I've been through... I would trust an Administrator again?" Dante continued, and...
[Power Nullification]
White read the message...
"There are over a hundred administrators, and the youngest ones come to my sector, play with my Voralith, turning it into a Spirit, send my wives to different places, far from me... And you think I won't retaliate?" Dante questioned.
"You're fools." He spoke before...
[Forwarding Request... Success!]
[Calling a Supreme-Class Administrator]
"You should have done your homework." Dante spoke before a roar came and the space around him shattered into millions of pieces like glass.
The two trembled before hearing the cold voice...
"How long it's been, Azi Dahaka." A cold voice passed through the two Administrators. "Looks like giving you that gift before you died was worth it."
