My Blood Legacy: Reincarnated as a Vampire

Chapter 455 The missing clown reappears

Chapter 455 The missing clown reappears

In the skies, Rhiannon Black, the Demi-Human Empress, hovered with undeniable majesty. Her red hair danced in the wind, and her cheetah ears moved with the sharp sensitivity she possessed. Before her, an immense army of Undead stretched as far as the eye could see, a powerful yet unexpected force threatening her kingdom. She never imagined she would have to face something like this, not within her own lands.

Katarina, her daughter, stood beside her, her expression serious, but with a gleam of confidence in her eyes. "Mother, we are ready to attack," she said, her voice filled with determination. She watched Rhiannon's calm demeanor, which seemed unshaken by the enormous threat before them.

The Empress remained silent for a moment, her golden eyes fixed on the enemy army, absorbing every movement, every nuance of the impending battle. Then, she turned to Katarina, a slight smile forming on her lips.

"What have you discovered?" Rhiannon asked, her voice deep and authoritative, yet tinged with curiosity.

Katarina looked at her, her expression serious and determined. "We received a message from Alice Arcano," she said. "She asked us to hold off on the attack until they defeat Mary Rose. The priority now is to eliminate her threat, but some of her allies may show up. She suggested destroying the army as quickly as possible and dealing with those subordinates afterward."

Rhiannon listened intently to her daughter's words, and then, as if the answer had unlocked something deep within her, an enormous smile spread across her face. Her expression shifted from calm and controlled to animated, filled with an uncontrollable desire for action.

"Mary Rose, huh?" Rhiannon laughed, a deep sound that echoed through the skies. She raised her hand, pointing toward the army before her, her smile widening even more. "LET'S KILL THESE BASTARDS!"

Without another word, she turned in the air and, with impressive speed, flew toward the battlefield, her figure becoming a red and gold blur in the sky. Her excitement seemed almost insane, as if she had been freed from all the chains that bound her, now fully immersed in the battle that was about to unfold. The power of an empress who didn't fear chaos, but craved it.

Katarina watched her mother fly off, a proud smile on her face, but also a hint of apprehension. She knew Rhiannon was about to destroy everything in her path without hesitation. And while that was the strength she had always admired, she also knew that it meant the battlefield would never be the same after that charge.

Katarina then flew toward her mother, determined to follow her, for the fight had begun. And with it, destruction.

...

[Western Empire]

Aldria and Velryna observed the situation in the area with serious, worried expressions. The capital, once grand and imposing, was now in a state of decline. The high walls protecting the city were cracked and covered in a dark mist, the result of the destruction caused by the attacks.

The undead, like an unstoppable tide, invaded the streets, knocking down everything in their path. The sound of screams and chaos echoed, blending with the sound of the dead horses' hooves and the creaking of rusty weapons. There was no more life in the streets. Only the shadows of undead, controlled by a malevolent force, moved with a single goal: to annihilate any trace of resistance.

Aldria watched it all with a cold gaze, but her heart was heavy. She knew the Western Empire was facing one of the worst threats it could possibly encounter. "They had no idea Mary Rose could wield such power..." Aldria murmured, her eyes fixed on the advancing hordes of undead. "She really surpassed expectations."

Velryna, with her arms crossed and her golden eyes attentively observing the destruction, made a slight grimace. "I knew she was a threat, but I didn't think it would happen this fast. The Western Empire is succumbing under the weight of these undead."

The cave, as dark and treacherous as it was, became a place filled with laughter and uneven steps, as if reality itself had taken a pause to watch an insane show. The echoes of her laughter mixed with the cracks of the stones, creating a chaotic harmony that would make anyone question their sanity.

"Ah, yes, my mission! I can't forget that!" The Clown Succubus suddenly remembered why she was there and came to a sudden stop, staring into space for a few seconds before bursting into an even louder laugh. "Mission... Mission... Hmm... Ah, I know!"

She pulled a letter from her bag – which looked more like a toy sack – and, with an exaggerated motion, opened it as if performing a grand magic trick. Inside, the letter clearly stated: "Go to point A and complete the task, even if you have to face all the dangers. Afterward, let's return to playing! Signed, Alice."

"Ah, of course! I'm excellent at doing missions and playing at the same time!" The Clown Succubus said to herself with a proud smile, as if she had just won the "Employee of the Month" award. She dramatically tucked the letter away and grabbed the first random object she found on the cave floor – a round stone that looked like a tennis ball – and began using it as a microphone, singing louder than ever.

"Come on, creatures! Let's play hide and seek! Whoever finds me will give me a dance, and those who don't... will win a prize! If you survive, of course!" she sang cheerfully, hopping forward with an enthusiasm that wouldn't fit any rational being.

Where exactly was she? Well, Cherry was now in the cave, in the same place where Fenrir had been saved for the first time. But instead of thinking about the importance of the mission ahead, Cherry preferred to sing and dance like a little clown at her own crazy party.

"And here I am, dear mission! Let's make this cave shake, because the fun won't stop!" She shouted and jumped into the darkness of the cave, her laughter echoing like a prelude to fun... or perhaps destruction, who knows?

The mission? Ah, who cares about that? Cherry was having fun, and those who knew her understood that she would always figure things out – in her own, very strange way.

"Let's see... AH! TIAMAT!" Cherry shouted, hopping excitedly when she finally found the immense body of the Dragon of the End, trapped in a complex magic circle. She approached it, her eyes gleaming as if she were about to discover the greatest secret in the universe... or, in her view, about to cause a huge uproar.

"HAHAHA THAT BITCH WANTS TO SUMMON TIAMAT? HAHAHA!" Cherry laughed, doing a weird dance in the middle of the path while staring at the magical portal that was about to activate. "No, no, no... It won't be like this, no!"

She crouched dramatically and began messing with the symbols and enchantments around the magic circle with exaggerated gestures, as if assembling a child's toy. "Here... ah, there... break this here... a good kick there and... DONE!" She finally kicked the central rune of the circle, and the magical effect began to spectacularly collapse.

"KA-BOOM!" She shouted, bursting with excitement as the magic circle shattered into shining fragments, releasing a wave of energy that made the cave tremble. "Summoning destroyed! Next time, use a Pokécola! Hahaha!" She threw herself on the ground in an exaggerated laugh, as if she had just conquered the world, even though everyone around her was absolutely confused.

"But wait! Still need the final touch!" Cherry said with a mischievous smile. She pulled a red and white sphere, with a peculiar glow, from her pocket and tossed it at Tiamat's fallen body. The sphere opened with a snap, and before the otherworldly creature could understand what was happening, it was sealed inside the Pokécola with a brilliant effect.

"WITH THIS, I, CHERRY, AM OFFICIALLY THE SAVIOR OF THIS WORLD!" She shouted dramatically, raising her arms as if she had just defeated a colossal threat, when in fact, she had just messed up the situation.

The cave seemed to echo with absurdity, but Cherry was satisfied with herself, proud of her newest and most peculiar achievement. The expression of someone who had just saved the day... or perhaps just made it more chaotic, but who cares, right?

"Now, let's see what else I can break around here..." She turned, with a mischievous grin, as the Pokécola with Tiamat was tossed into a bluish portal. "I saved the world!" she said with a smile... "Now the husband has to reward me!!"
