Magic Sect of Beauties: The Strongest Mage is in a Cultivation World

Chapter 321 In Search of the Moon Nectar Flower, I.

Chapter 321 In Search of the Moon Nectar Flower, I.

In the Eastern Continent, there were countless hidden realms.

They were often tucked away in small spatial cracks in places where spiritual energy was dense.

Some of these realms were tightly controlled by powerful cultivators and opened only periodically.

Because secret realms were so common there, even less talented cultivators had a good chance at making breakthroughs to the Nascent Soul stage or higher.

To control the power balance and prevent a flood of Spirit Ascension stage cultivators, elite sects in the Eastern Continent placed powerful Immortal-level restrictions on these realms.

As a result of their actions...

Every five thousand years, very precious secret realms would appear, while others became almost impossible to find.

Despite this rarity, new secret realms often emerged in different locations, sometimes more quickly than the upper-class sects could manage.

However, these sects never gave up the chase, knowing that if they did, other determined cultivators would seize the opportunity to explore these mystical pocket realms and boost their cultivation.

Many of these secret realms in the Eastern Continent contained vital ingredients needed to concoct Spirit Ascension Pills.

These pills were incredibly valuable because they gave Nascent Soul cultivators with a Celestial Soul Heart or an Elemental Harmony Core a much better chance of advancing to the earth-path Spirit Ascension stage.

The worth of these pills to any cultivator or sect was beyond measure.

Then there were legacy caves.

These mystical and ancient structures were a key part of the cultivation world.

Unlike secret realms, which usually existed in parallel dimensions or hidden spaces, legacy caves were part of the physical world but stayed hidden through powerful enchantments and natural disguises.

These caves were treasure troves of ancient wisdom, valuable artifacts, and martial legacies left by legendary cultivators!

Yang Wei and his allies were searching for one of these legacy caves.

In a place like the Eastern Continent, finding one was like looking for a needle in a vast sea──nearly impossible.

"We're here..." said Yang Wei.

After trekking through much of the Great Wulong Forest, they finally reached the location of the legacy cave they had been searching for.

Normally, Yang Wei would have given up on finding something so well hidden, but with the Moon Dragon Seal, he knew finding the Moon Nectar Flower would be easy.

Initially, he believed this divine flower would be hidden in a secret realm.

However, after understanding how common secret realms were in the Eastern Continent, he realized that if Fairy Su Meirong was as clever as people said, she would have thought the same thing he did──hide a precious item in a seemingly ordinary place.

It wasn't exactly hiding in plain sight; it was like hiding it in a place that didn't exist.

The two Core disciples standing behind Huang Xiuwen looked at what was supposed to be a legacy cave and felt unimpressed.

Compared to secret realms, it seemed like an extremely ordinary place.

"Seriously? This is the legacy cave we've been tirelessly searching for?"

He Yaqi clearly sounded unhappy.

It felt like a waste of effort──there was no way such an average forest structure would have anything amazing.

Xu Haocheng looked equally disappointed.

"This can't be the legacy cave. It just looks like a small beast cave. The best thing we might find here won't even compare to the spirit plants and herbs in a common secret realm. What a disappointment."

The only reason he hadn't fully expressed his anger was because Elder Huang Xiuwen was present.

Mu Lin, sitting comfortably on Yang Wei's shoulders with her hands resting gently on his head, also thought the cave looked very ordinary. She even squinted her eyes, but nothing impressive stood out──it was just like any other part of the forest.

She knocked Yang Wei's head very gently.

"Darling, this looks so ordinary."

"Do you really think we're just going to do what you say and enter this place? Do you think we're that stupid?"

"Yes, of course." Yang Wei nodded.

He Yaqi immediately glared at him, her face furious.

The white-haired fellow confidently placed his hands on his waist and puffed his chest out, standing like someone of a senior generation.

"Come on, why would you doubt someone with a face as innocent as mine? Do I, Yang Wei, really look like someone who would lie?"

Without hesitation, as if they were programmed to answer that question, Mu Lin and Mu Lingxi both responded.

"Yes."

Those words hit Yang Wei hard──like knives stabbing from behind. He placed a hand on his chest and dramatically lowered his head.

"I would expect such harshness from Lingxi, but Lin'er, my beloved, would you really treat me like a liar? Has my love not been truthful enough?"

He even made his voice sound sickly to add to his fake distress.

Mu Lin folded her arms and rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you don't have to be honest for us to love each other. Unlike you, I'm just stating the truth."

Huang Xiuwen inspected them with an expressionless face, not appreciating the off-topic banter.

"Can we please focus on the main task?"

Everyone immediately turned their attention to her.

Stepping forward, Huang Xiuwen drew her sword elegantly.

"It's my responsibility as an elder to ensure my disciples' safety. I, Huang Xiuwen, am not afraid of any tricks you may have up your sleeves. I will lead the way."

There was no hesitation──her body language exuded confidence.

As Huang Xiuwen entered the legacy cave, she suddenly found herself in a sprawling maze of tunnels and chambers.

"What?! Is this Spatial Daoist arts?"

Each space was rich with spiritual energy, giving off a mystical feel. Ancient carvings adorned the age-old walls, and the air carried the soothing fragrance of rare spirit herbs and the gentle sound of trickling water.

It felt like the perfect place for cultivation and meditation.

"Hmm..."

Still somewhat amazed, Huang Xiuwen glanced back and noticed that the entrance had vanished──not exactly gone, more like it was there but invisible.

"It's safe, you can all co──!!"

Huang Xiuwen halted as she heard growling sounds of beasts.

When she turned around to look at the creatures, she spotted a pack of red-furred monsters. They had three horns, glowing red eyes, and monstrously huge, sharp claws that looked like they could slice through steel.

Huang Xiuwen took a sword stance and sharpened her spiritual senses.

Outside the legacy cave, Yang Wei yawned tiredly while carrying Mu Lin.

"Are you getting tired, sweetie?" Mu Lin asked, gently leaning down to caress his cheek.

"No, you're fine up there..." Yang Wei replied.

Xu Haocheng stepped forward, concern and frustration all over his face. "Something better not have happened to the elder!"

"Hmph! What he said!" He Yaqi chimed in, showing support.

Yang Wei held out a hand to block Xu Haocheng's path.

"Your elder is a 2nd-path cultivator, yes? Have some faith."

He smiled frigidly.

In a way, Xu Haocheng almost felt threatened.
