Chapter 3 Mommy
Chapter 3 Mommy
Eldora, somewhere in the west continent.
The west continent was a continent filled with abundant Qi and flourishing heavenly will, where cultivators rode on flying swords and where a fist could overturn the heavens.
Practitioners perfected their techniques in the celestial realm, and everyone chased the dao; saints preached the dao, and mortals pursued it all their lives.
The west continent was dominated by four empires, cutting it into four nations.
The velkarain empire.
The Dractha Empire.
The Zarvok empire.
And the kalderan empire.
Inside the Kalderan empire, many countries with rising forces spammed the lands. The dao was abundant and kingdoms flourished.
The Crimson Tide Kingdom was a kingdom located inside the Kalderan empire; it was a huge kingdom with powerful practitioners of the Dao and was populated by millions of people.
Somewhere in a remote corner of the Crimson Tide kingdom, a small village was surrounded by mountains and streams, cutting it from the rest of the world.
By the trunk of an enormous tree just by the flowing stream, a beautiful fluffy white cat with a crescent-shaped mark on its forehead could be seen lying on a soft patch of flowers.
This place was a valley where ferocious beasts usually visited as precious herbs grew here; the white cat was currently lying on a patch of flowers with blood-red petals.
Suddenly, the eyes of the cat trembled before slowly opening.
Revealing a pair of big beautiful blue eyes; its blue eyes looked at the surroundings with intelligence that did not belong to a beast.
Clearly, this cat was none other than Leon who had just been reincarnated by the goddess Selinthia.
"Where am I?" Leon said but produced a Meow sound instead, he was incapable of speaking.
'Oh, that's right. I'm a cat at the moment; I'll only get a human form later on,' Leon thought to himself before looking around himself.
Right at his moment of despair, Leon heard a voice that seemed like that of an angel.
"You bad Wolf, don't damage precious plants!" The angel's voice sounded angry as it yelled at the wolf. Leon suddenly saw a vine rise from the ground and smacked the head of the wolf hard.
The monster let out a whimper before quickly escaping.
Leon stared at the now empty space in front of him; everywhere was quiet and peaceful, and he couldn't perceive the smell of the beast.
"Did I really survive? My prayers were answered?" Leon thought to himself, his small heart beating fiercely inside his small cat's body.
" These stupid creatures, what did it come to look for in this part of the forest? It destroyed a few red petal lilies."
Leon heard the voice of the angel that had saved him complain as the sounds of footsteps slowly approached his hiding spot.
A face soon blocked the sunlight from entering Leon's hiding space as a pair of beautiful eyes looked at him; it was an extremely beautiful woman!
Probably one of the most beautiful women that he had seen in his 200 lifetimes.
"Wawa! Such a cute little cat! What are you doing there little guy? Come here, are you hurt?" The woman said in a gentle voice filled with excitement and tenderness as she reached under the tree root for Leon.
Leon didn't resist, his mind seemed to have turned off all forms of reasoning upon seeing that the one reaching for him wasn't a hungry wolf but an extremely gorgeous woman.
Her soft hands grabbed Leon's body before carefully pulling him out and hugging him against her body; the woman examined the little cat in her arms; a look of glee appeared on her pretty face when she saw the crescent-shaped mark on its forehead.
"A spirit beast? How did a spirit beast get here? Where is your Mommy, little guy?" She asked with a bright smile on her face before taking a look around.
She has mistaken Leon for a spirit beast because of the mark on his forehead.
Seeing no other spirit beast in the area, the woman turned back to look at the pitiful white cat in her arms.
" Looks like this little guy was abandoned; it looks hurt; I'll heal it first," she mumbled before placing one of her hands above Leon; a faint green glow shone on her fair palm before falling on Leon's body.
Leon felt a warm feeling washing through his body, and his heartbeat immediately calmed down; it was a healing technique, although it was weak compared to what Leon had seen before.
After using the healing technique on the white cat, the beautiful woman looked at him with a sweet smile.
"Alright little guy, looks like you're alone; how about coming back with me to the village? My name is Shishi, and I'll be your Mommy from now on; I'll call you...Nilo!"
