Not long after, they came to the front of a large door that was several meters tall and two guards with black fox ears and tails guarding in front of it; the two were level 4 ranked beasts.
They bowed to his mother-in-law before pushing the door open. The door split apart with a loud noise, and she stepped inside with Leon in her arms.

They were inside a well-lit massive hall. The ceiling of the hall was almost thirty meters high, and there were paintings of ancient and mystical-looking foxes painted on it. Tall massive pillars that were meters thick connected the ceiling and the sparkling marble floor that was almost shiny enough to be used as a mirror.
Almost fifty meters in front of them, a flight of small steps led to a higher ground where Fengxue's father was seated on a grand chair with several other empty seats on his left and right.
On the lower level of the place, small groups of fox people gathered in different groups of seven to nine and they were all dressed lavishly and radiated powerful auras.
The weakest amongst them was a level 4 ranked beast!
Leon guessed that these were the various families in the fox clan. He soon spotted someone amongst the groups, it was that arrogant old man who had proposed Leon's duel with his grandson!
