the scythe was like a tire, going towards the training doll like a mini saw disc as it cut through the air, it's bright red colour shining brightly.
the scythe reached before the dummy in less than two seconds and sliced it's head off of it's body before coming back to xander.
xander stretched his hand forth and caught the scythe and looked at the training doll as both halves of it's body flew up and began to merge together.
xander gritted his teeth as he walked towards the dummy but he was immediately stopped.
"wait!"
xander looked sideways to see yukimura walking towards him with a smile.
"that doll is not an opponent for you. just a waste of time and stamina."
with a wave of his arm the doll dispersed into streaks of blue energy and flew back into the crystal. the crystal then went back into the floor tile where it came from.
yukimura walked in front of xander and waved his hands. two long swords appeared in hand, the edges glowing in a blue hue.
as he waved it, the swords left trails of blue light like after images, yukimura then took a stance. bending down a little and placing the tips of his swords on the ground he looked at xander and smiled.
xander immediately understood the smile and put on a smile of his own before saying:
"i'm quite strong."
yukimura laughed out loud and simply replied:
"oh, don't worry about me. worry about yourself."
yukimura charged towards xander. his figure blurred as it looked like he was covered in a coat of blue energy, the sound of hus sword scraping the ground echoed in the room.
xander too didn't shy away and charged forward with his scythe an inch away from his open palm spinning beside him.
xander jumped and slashed his weapon down with all his strength towards the coming yukimura.
*clank!*
a loud clanking sound resounded as xander's scythe hit the solid white ground.
"tsk, tsk. you shouldn't have done this," he mumbled as he stomped his foot on the ground.
*boom!*
a pulse wave spread out from his feet, splitting the fire into two and coming towards xander with breakneck speed.
xander, seeing that some stupid wind just pushed hid almighty primordial flames and was heading towards him put the scythe in front of him like a shield as it spun, slicing air in the process.
xander's senses tingled as he heard a whooshing sound from behind him.
he turned with a shocked expression as he saw yukimura coming towards him with a wide smile, showing complete his set of wide teeth maniacally.
at that moment xander too smiled as the two red discs that he left above on the ceiling shot out chains with blades at the end towards yukimura.
yukimira's blades was close to him already and xander's chains were about to restrain their target when all of a sudden both of them stopped.
they didn't want to kill each other as they panted while their weapons were at each other's throats.
yukimira's swords were beside xander's neck while xander's chains; one was about to pierce yukimira's butt while the other was about to pierce his chest.
yes. it targeted the dude's butthole!
"so. it's a tie?" yukimura said but then xander jumped back, going out of the range of the swordsman blades.
that's when yukimura noticed the smirk on xander's face and he also felt something emanating heat close to his neck.
"nope. it's not a tie."
xander looked up with a smile to the curved side of his scythe ready to be pulled backwards to cut yukimira's head off. but alas, it's just just sparring session.
the scythe and the chains vanished into red flames and dispersed as they faded into the air.
"hehe. looks like i won."
yukimura snapped out of his daze as he smiled bitterly and dismissed his weapons. he stood up straight and just sneered. he really thought he was going to win.
"we're going to have another spar later. come i'll show you to your friends," the japanese swordsman said as he walked out of the room.
both of them now looked like they didn't just do any strenuous exercise. not even a drop of sweat could be seen on their faces.
