You successfully charmed Agnes in the last guide, right? Now comes the main event.

Note that this event won’t occur at all without Agnes, so don’t bother trying to raise affection with other characters through lake dates, thinking it might trigger the subjugation battle.

Whether it’s an after-school date or a weekend date, if you’ve managed to take Agnes out, you’re halfway there.

Be careful with planning the course of the date here – if you mess it up, you won’t be able to enter the Kraken Subjugation event even after all your preparation.

There are mainly two routes to the lakeside walkway:

Have a meal in the commercial district and then move to the lakeside walkway as a second destination.Give Agnes a book as a gift at the large bookstore in the commercial district, then move to the lakeside walkway as a second destination.

Choose Route 1 if you want to collect CGs, and Route 2 if you want to raise affection. If you want both, go meal → bookstore → lakeside. I only proceeded with the meal route since I didn’t care about Agnes’s affection.

This is the lakeside walkway that you’ll reach after finishing the meal and arriving at the second destination. See the circle in the corner of the screenshot? That’s the boat rental place.@@@@

If you proceeded with either Route 1 or Route 2, your affection with Agnes should be high enough that suggesting a boat date will be ok. (Be careful; if you bring her to the lakeside walkway first, she won’t want to ride the boat, and you’ll lose affection)

Pay 3 silver coins for the rental fee and rent a two-person boat. [Only on Galaxy Translations! / Axiomatic]

As you row the boat around the academy, several dialogue events will occur.

There’s no particularly important content, so you can just answer casually and skip through.

Choices do come up occasionally, but they’re so easy even a monkey could raise affection with her, so I won’t bother explaining them.

These are the kinds of choices that come up throughout the conversation, and as you can see, there’s only one choice a normal person would make.

Anyway, as you’re going around the lakeside of the Island of Knowledge, you’ll see signs that the Kraken is about to appear.

If you choose “Return” here, you’ll avoid the battle and end the day. If you choose “Ignore and Enter,” the Kraken will appear, and the battle will start.
