Chapter 193 Spiritual Veins
Chapter 193 Spiritual Veins
These pills were not just for cultivation. During wartime, pills that restored true energy and essence, healed injuries, detoxified poisons, and more were in immense demand.
Take the current situation in Guang'an Prefecture, for example.@@@@
Beyond the auxiliary cultivation and realm-breaking elixirs, there was an overwhelming need for three types of pills: Qi-Restoring Pills, Detoxification Pills, and Evil-Breaking Pills.
This was especially true for the Eastern Defense Zone on the front lines.

Luis could imagine Zhou Mubai must be deeply concerned about the production of Evil-Breaking Pills and Detoxification Pills. These two types were absolutely critical for dealing with zombies. Without them, the danger faced by monks fighting zombies would increase exponentially—by at least two levels.
Luis had experienced the incredible effects of an Evil-Breaking Pill firsthand.
Of course, what he had taken at the time was a second-grade superior-grade Evil-Breaking Pill, leagues above the ordinary first-grade version. But even the lower-grade Evil-Breaking Pills had proven essential in helping him and Zhou Mubai fight their way out of the Ten Thousand Corpses Blood Evil Formation.
"Since we're officially setting up production here, why don't we give it a name?" Xiao Wei suggested from the side.
"A name?" Luis repeated, lowering his head in thought.
"How about 'Hartmann Pharmaceutical Factory'?" he finally said.
"Hartmann Pharmaceutical Factory," Xiao Wei echoed, testing the name.
After a moment's thought, both Xiao Wei and Arthur nodded in agreement. The name was simple, standard, and left little room for debate.
With the name decided, Luis turned to Arthur.
"Do you know why I asked you to come?" Luis asked, a hint of amusement in his tone.
Arthur raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Don't look at me like that," Luis said, shaking his head. "I need to set up a soul formation for my family and for Redwood Island. Especially Redwood Island—our family will build a fairy city there next."
Arthur's eyes widened. "Uncle Oliver said I'd be stationed there to monitor the cultivators?"
"That's right," Luis confirmed.
"Me?"
"Yes, you."
Arthur's expression brightened. "Is it going to be like Zhou Main City—a real fairy city?"
Luis smiled. "It won't be as grand as Zhou Main City just yet, but who knows what the future holds? It's certainly going to grow into something remarkable."
The demarcation of the Western Defense Zone meant that the vast area west of Guang'an Prefecture would officially become the Hartmann family's sphere of influence.
It was important to note, however, that the Hartmanns were not the only family thriving in this region.
Although the Western Defense Zone was vast and sparsely populated, the total population still numbered in the tens of millions. With such a large population, the number of monks alone could easily reach hundreds of thousands—and that's not including the influx of people who might arrive in the future.
The reason for this migration was simple.
While the Western Defense Zone was considered the weakest, it also served as the rear base of Guang'an Prefecture. The Eastern Defense Zone, Northern Zone, and Lingbei Island were all front-line territories, constantly embroiled in conflict.
Additionally, the spiritual energy from the spiritual sunflower and moonflower enhanced the process. When combined, their effects were greater than the sum of their parts.
After completing the upgrades on Hartmann Island, Luis followed the same procedure to enhance the spiritual veins of Redwood Island.
The delay had been long, but finally, the commander was attending to Redwood Island's cultivation environment.
Seeing him start the process of cultivating third-level spiritual veins for the island, everyone's spirits lifted.
Redwood Island had long been a barren place, making it difficult for cultivators to practice effectively. Most of them had been forced to rely on refining the sparse spiritual energy in the air to restore their true essence.
Under normal circumstances, such poor conditions would have led to an uprising. But the cultivators understood the broader context.
Guang'an Prefecture was in chaos, and the front line faced an ongoing threat from the zombie tide on Lotus Island. Having a safe place to stay was already a luxury.
If Redwood Island hadn't been an option, returning to their original clan territories would have been their only choice.
But after witnessing the fate of the Zhao family, who would dare risk staying on an isolated island alone?
"Master Commander!"
Noticing Luis' escape light, a captain commanding ten thousand soldiers, currently at the middle stage of Foundation Building, stopped cutting trees with his flying sword and bowed deeply to him.
"Mm," Luis acknowledged with a nod.
Looking around the bustling construction site, he asked, "Where's Mr. Biggs?"
"General Biggs is up front," the captain replied, pointing toward a specific area.
Following the direction of the captain's finger, Luis spotted Biggs lying over a massive blueprint, explaining something to a group of practitioners.
Although the monks weren't as skilled in architecture as Biggs and his experienced construction team—who had spent their lives building houses—they weren't entirely ignorant. After all, they often dug caves for their personal cultivation retreats.
With Biggs' guidance, the cultivators quickly grasped his instructions.
"I believe a 70-30 ratio works best—70% of the workforce handling building materials and 30% focused on constructing houses and paving roads. These cultivators work at an incredible pace," Biggs explained.
"Biggs!"
Luis approached from behind as Biggs was speaking.
"Master Commander!"
"Master Commander!"
Upon seeing Luis, everyone present bowed in respect.
Luis nodded in acknowledgment to each of them before turning his attention back to Biggs.
"You've already finalized the city design?" Luis asked, surprised.
Biggs grinned and replied, "Nothing too complicated, Boss. We already had a blueprint. I just modified it to fit the soil and terrain!"
Hearing this, Luis nodded in understanding.
Indeed, the resources of the two world can be exchanged and this blueprint might just have advantage of building of two world.
