Chapter 413: Small World

Chapter 413: Small World

Shi Tian wasn’t given much time to think. Mei disappeared from her current position, and in that very instant, she brandished her spear blade straight to Queen Mei’s face. The latter no longer wore the embarrassed look from before as she took out a naginata of her own.Their physical clash sent shockwaves across the Cave Heaven. The formations placed at the edge activated, allowing the force to dissipate. The only reason why the ground hasn’t shattered yet was due to its long-term exposure to the eighth-grade spirit vein.  Otherwise, it would have been shattered in one blow.

Void Refinement Realm cultivators possess the capability to affect an entire star section during their fights. A star section is a cluster of star systems—a collection of thousands of star systems like the solar system. The twenty-one Void Refinement cultivators from Earth willingly dissipated their own physical tribulations, lest the solar system would have been affected greatly by now.

In short, there hasn’t been a ‘real’ fight since the beginning.

Each of their strikes were way faster than light itself. The shockwaves accumulated by them no longer traveled through “impact” alone. Lines of white cracks emerged from the void. Like shattered glass, they fell and turned into specks of white light. This resulted in a massive “emptiness” within the void. The Cave Heaven desperately attempted to fix it swiftly, but it could not do so. The clashes between Mei and Queen Mei was akin to pouring salt into the wound.

Since it could not recover the damages imposed on it, the space grew unstable. There are so many things that could happen once it reaches a certain threshold—implosion, singularities, spiritual qi decomposition, and so on.

‘They really did it..!’

Shi Tian was quick to act. Pale gray clouds emerged out of his fingertips. They shot straight to the cracks within the void, mending them within fractions of a second. His spiritual qi was depleted by more than a quarter. He did not mind this consumption as he turned his attention towards the two Meis.

‘I didn’t expect to try this move out now.’

The battle of the two caused unprecedented damage not only in this Cave Heaven, but also the outside world. Mei struck several times before she pierced a gap on her formation. Shi Tian felt lucky they installed all sorts of planetary formations in times of crisis… like now.

A bright white dot appeared floating on his palm. It rapidly attracted more cube-shaped specks of white light. They continued combining until they formed a cube-shaped infinity symbol. He flicked it with his finger, flinging it towards the ground.

A mechanical hum resounded. It did not just exist in the physical realm, but also the spiritual. The two Meis paused simultaneously, confused as to where it came from. To their shock, their surroundings changed. They could no longer feel any spiritual qi; only the dimly-lit altar facing twelve constellations remained.

Just as they were observing, the constellation belonging to the lit up. Their karma, which were supposed to be isolated from the rest of the world, quivered like a used bowstring.

“Stop fighting.”

Shi Tian’s voice rang out. His figure, which wasn’t there before, stood in front of the altar. In his hands were two red strings. His golden pupils gave off a sharp and mechanical glint, resembling the coldness belonging to the Law Titan’s authority.

The moment he said those words, their bodies paused mid-air. When they subconsciously tried to move, they found out they could not. They were now stuck in awkward poses right as they were about to clash once again.

‘As expected, having a prototype makes things easier.’

Now that he was in the Void Refinement Realm, Shi Tian gained access to the Dao of All Creation. He was no longer limited to using it for a sure-hit attack; or a combined attack surpassing his current realm. As the Dao spat out by the golden orb, it held possibilities—limitless uses.

He was akin to a creation god who could pull off anything he ever wanted—granted he had enough reserves of spiritual qi to manifest them. That was where the ‘restrictions’ came from. The more limited his manifestations, the less demanding they become.

This ‘’ move Shi Tian figured out was one of them. He took the image and framework of Amphoreus as a basis for creating a small world—including its limitations of twelve Paths. Inside, he could exert far more influence than what he could outside. Bringing it out is akin to a buff, per se.

As long as he could trap his enemies inside, Shi Tian will receive a buff that enables him to do more with the Dao of All Creation!

This word of “Law” similar to the Law Titan’s authority was one such thing. Only, it depended on the ‘karma’ Shi Tian held towards the other party. If it was big enough, he could completely turn it into a ‘debt’, placing the other targets under his will. Hence, it wasn’t truly the Law Titan’s authority, but a brand new one created through All Creation. He merely used the twelve Paths as a basis to create twelve different skills inside this temporarily-formed small world.

Mei and Queen Mei possessed way too many things given by Shi Tian. It wasn’t limited to physical possessions, but also mental. Mei’s lovesickness towards him, especially, sealed the deal in this regard.

‘...’

Looking at Mei’s rapidly changing expression, Shi Tian felt slightly speechless. Her dark purple eyes were filled with fear and apprehension, but at the same time, expectations. She sported the same look as Sirin and Sin when he was about to punish them!

‘Attention…’

Mei didn’t care what kind of attention Shi Tian gave her. So long as it was exclusive to and alone, she would treat it like a treasure. Her eyes widened as she realized something. She looked at Queen Mei who was being punished in the same way as her.

Just like that, her resentment towards her grew once more.

Shi Tian watched the killing field between the two become even stronger. Their eyes looked like they would tear each other’s clothes apart. It was one of the few things Shi Tian found reassuring. It seemed like the two never intended to kill each other.

‘Now that it’s temporarily over, what’s next..?’

Even the experienced Shi Tian found himself at a loss at this exact moment.
