Chapter 167 RETURNING TO BEAST
Chapter 167 RETURNING TO BEAST
That meant that their marks will finally disappear and Wuk can return to Beast World.
"That’s good, hopefully, everyone is safe during my slumber."
"You don’t need to worry about that, the undeads stops advancing towards the city after you forced their Innate leader to flee, the ones remaining were unintelligent ones that were destroyed by everyone with ease."
He was relieved, suddenly, he feels the ship shaking then stabilizing.
"We might had land." Jericho mutters.
Sean also stands up, when they got out of the room, they were greeted by a row of soldiers standing upright.
Wuk was sitting besides the door, not even bothering to conceal his boredom.
Only Liliaghant sits like a saint with her pretty face and calming vibe.
"Greetings to lord Sean!" The leading soldier shouts.
"Greetings to lord Sean!" The rest shouts in unison.
Sean raises his eyebrow in confusion, he turns to Jericho to ask.
"Don’t look at me, I don’t know what’s happening either, you should ask vice principal if she knows."
"I guess." He mutters and left but the soldiers were following him, causing him to feel apprehensive.
Liliaghant suddenly pulls his clothes and looks at him.
He knows what she wants and let her return to Beast World.
Wuk watches with envy, he also wants to enter but the mark is still on his body.
"It’s lord Sean!"
"I told you that he’s going to be fine!"
"Venerable Miracle."
Mutters can be heard as everyone were looking at him.
Sean can hear their words, they look like soldiers and other workers, he doesn’t know them, making him confused as to how they know him?
He’s unaware of his great reputation amongst the people, they had dug his past exploits and they can’t help but admire his heroic heart.
Not caring about what they’re thinking, he went out of the ship together with everyone else.
With his ability to hide his presence, he quickly blends in with everyone, especially, with someone like Wuk gathering most of the attention.
He shifts through the dense crowd, he doesn’t want anyone to discover at the moment.
Once he’s back to their residence, he was relieved, he had put the teleportation mark inside but he knows that this will definitely leave some suspicion from the Federation.
"Sean!"
Ganko and the rest knows that he’s returning and were preparing a feast for all of them, they just didn’t expect that he would return so early.
The one that greets him was Chika, she leaps on his embrace as the two of them hugs each other, sensing the warmth of each other.
"Where’s the other students?" Bear didn’t see his students and was feeling nervous.
"Them, they’re probably brought back by the Federation to meet the elders of the Spiritual Alliance, I’m also going later."
"Why aren’t you going with them?" Tsu asks.
"I fear that once our mark is removed, the Federation will force us to stay here." His expression is gloomy.
Everyone can’t help but sigh, they already expected this, he warned them about this before.
"Don’t worry about it, I have obtained a fortuitous encounter in the test and I can now teleport in a large distance but it requires a stable pathway and a place that we can use to connect each pathway."
He decided to use spirit stones as substitute for his energy but he requires materials that can endure the violent spatial power that comes with using his runes and rune marks.
"Really!?" Everyone was shocked, they look at him with shining eyes.
"Yes, the idea is to copy the portal that the Martial Alliance uses, I might not be able to perfectly copy it but I can build something similar that we can study and improve."
Everyone was giddy with excitement, if they can truly achieve this feat, they might be able to connect the cities just like they earlier planned.
"I can also use trees to create a psychic energy to enforce the space gate, I just don’t what type of tree is perfect for this."
"Where’s Fabuki?" Who knows more regarding psychic power than the two Tatsu Sisters?
"She went to receive you guys, she would never expect that you would return before she can."
"Hmm, I guess, we can only wait."
He wants to helps but was kicked out by the girls, they said that he should just rest.
He can’t just tell them that he just woke after sleeping for two weeks because he pushed his body to the brink of collapse.
Lying on the bed, he can’t help but realize that he had become too cocky after he reached the strength to contend against Innates.
He’s also prone to experiment in using his runes without practice.
"Once I return back to the city, I should probably focus in creating the space gates and training the others."
It seems that he can’t go on an adventure but he can at least increase his knowledge by reading some of the research that’s available in the public and gathering all the knowledge of the top families in his zone.
"I’m certain, once I become more familiar with using my runes, awakening more will be much more easier."
He mutters, basic elemental runes is easy to master, he might be able to awaken one that’s related to Mana and other type of energies as long as he has some time to rest.
"Maybe, I should rely on Bun Bun and the rest." Wuk needs to build a kingdom on Beast World but the rest doesn’t.
"A magic academy! I can let Scorchy build an academy for those that are gifted in using Mana!"
His head is full of ideas but he becomes gloomy when he remembers the state of their world at the moment.
He sighs. "Why should I carry the burden of the entire world? There are powers that can help me."
The Federation and the Martial Alliance are great choices.
He slaps his forehead.
"How did I become so arrogant!?"
He fought against multiple Innates that he had forgotten they are actually rare powerhouses that requires at least centuries to develop.
That meant that the enemies can’t just send all of their Innates, the majority of their opponents are probably going to be only Pseudo Innates and elite gold rankers.
He doesn’t need to find people on that level to follow him, he just need to help them improve by creating an environment that increases their growth.
"I might not be able to do that in the past but with the Evergreen Family and most of all, Liliaghant, I can grow enough plants that can be used to create pills to supplement growth."
There’s also the fact that he can also use the carps as a reward, even elves, he isn’t lacking, he can just grab a random mystique creature and let it grow inside Beast World.
"Iron Monkeys can be traded after Wuk completes his kingdom but this isn’t enough."
He stands up and starts pacing back and forth, his plan to create a place that encourages growth isn’t something that he can shoulder on his own.
"Martial arts, I can also use martial arts that I learned and created as a driving force but first, we must deal with any unsavory group staying in our city."
He then realizes something.
"Wait? Did I become a treasure myself?"
He was speechless.
His blood can help others improve their strength, his essence is tonic to girls, his spiritual energy can be absorb by anyone from their world.
He truly has so many things that people of this world would fight for.
"Don’t tell me I become an existence just like a certain monk on the Journey To The-" His words was cut off when he senses someone opening the door.
He was startled and sees Chika entering with a blush on her face.
"The others felt that I was just a nuisance in the kitchen." He can’t help but laugh after hearing her words.
"Don’t laugh!" She screams as she leaps towards him and starts punching him in the chest.
"Okay, okay, I won’t laugh, it’s just that, you’re like us, you eat so much, so, I thought that you’re also a good cook."
She pouts.
"I’m a young miss from our city, of course, I don’t cook, my family has designated chef for that."
He smiles as he rubs her head, he then looks at her with surprise.
"You’re already at silver rank?" Hearing his tone, she knows that he’s surprised, she raises her chest proudly.
"Hmph! After my foundation was fixed during our, frequent union." She blushes, she can’t help but stop and can only try to give another adjective for what they’re doing.
"Do you also want to sign a contract with a carp?" He asks.
"Yes, we have decided to make them the family guardian beasts." She nods her head.
"Hahaha, okay, I’ll take one out." Chika stops him.
"I didn’t come here for that, I’ll sign a contract with one when we return to the city, I want to show off in front of my friends and family."
She smiles and ties her hair, she pushes him to the bed and unzips his paints.
"Just rest and leave everything to me."
His eyes lights up with desire and excitement, it had truly been too long.
He groans as her lips touches his spear, swallowing it whole, he was already excited and it didn’t take long for it to grow hard.
The sound of wet lips and gagging can be heard in the room, knowing that this is the way his lover is letting him rest, he decided to enjoy it fully.
Words are omitted.
"How did you manage to become so proficient?" He can’t help but ask as he was shocked to release it so early.
"Hmph! Of course you’ll feel much better, had you forgotten, I’m already at silver rank!" Her voice is a bit hoarse but she’s still proud of what she accomplished today.
Her body is much more accommodating after reaching silver rank, he was embarrassed that he forgotten something that he just told her.
"Sorry, the experience was so amazing that you sucked the soul out of me."
"Hmph! Scoundrel!" She punches him and quickly left, she has no confidence in taking him on her own, she already did her job.
Sean lies with a peaceful expression, that was amazing, he can’t believe that even after all of what he experienced, he’s still addicted to such feeling.
He sits up and starts meditating, his soul might had wounded after over draining his spirit this past few weeks.
He wants to make sure that he’s still fine.
Just as he was deep in his cultivation, another person enters the room.
"Sean, the Federation is here, they’re asking if you’re here or not, what do we tell them?"
He opens his eyes and sighs, he can’t even cultivate in peace.
"Tell them that I’m here, no, let’s go to them instead."
He still has to take the mark on his hand off, that meant that he would likely go to the Federation sooner or later.
The man greets him upon seeing him, they’re ordered to be as accomdating as possible.
"It seems that the Federation wants something from me, no matter, lead me there."
The man smiles but his subordinates were looking at the room in a calculating manner.
Suddenly, a powerful pressure descends on them, causing them to feel breathless.
"What are you staring at?"
The man that was greeting was a gold ranker but even he, can’t help but feel like an ant in front of him.
"I’m sorry! My men are too rude!" Seeing the man being able to move surprises him slightly.
The man was cursing his men, he knows that the Federation has given them a secret mission to monitor Sean’s group but did they really need to do it in front of their target!?
This person was able to kill Innates for god sake! How can they expect that he wouldn’t notice their actions!?
Just as the man was grumbling, the pressure recedes, he then speaks. "Wait for me outside."
He closes the door, not caring about what they’re thinking.
