AI Doctor : From Slave to Beast King

Chapter 134 : Harming others and one self

Chapter 134 : Harming others and one self

"Trial and Error?" Damien frowned.

"Yes, the royal family has always been secretive about their training methods. Maybe it was due to the betrayal of Azazel, but all the traces of the studies and training regime of the Royal family were cleared up. This is also the reason why Master Godric asked the four big families to teach you their skills."

"He is trying to find the one training regime that will resonate to your core the most. Our family relies on strength, agility, and power, which is why we hone our skills through combat. I asked you to participate in the combat with the guards because I believed that you would be able to connect the core connection in case you were to feel threatened."

"Of course, we can't say that it was correct or incorrect because there were cons and pros." Wistoria finished explaining and drank some alcohol to quench her thirst.

Damien slowly stomached her words and asked, "Then these four families—"

She understood what he was trying to say and stated in a firm voice, "Don't worry. Though we are no longer as strong as we were when the late Emperor was in power, we are not that weak to succumb to Emiliano's tricks and treachery."

Damien wanted to ask Wistoria whether she and Emiliano had some kind of past together as he recalled the memories that he had seen when he was helping Wistoria the last time.

But–

"HEY YOU BASTARD!"

Damien stiffened and looked back. He knew that it was too peaceful. With his luck, something should have happened within the last twenty-four hours; since nothing happened, Damien thought he was safe, but nope.

The horrendous luck of being a patient magnet proved that he was being too optimistic.

He turned to look at the three men who were hitting a single man and frowned.

"I have never seen a bastard like you before, clearly I won the fight last night, why did you sleep with Rachel?" the man who was punching the man on the ground yelled angrily.

"You asshole, it was her who invited me because she said that you were not good enough. I was just doing you a favour," said the guy who was being beaten up.

"Stop... stop fighting!" the woman shrieked.

"I will teach you a lesson that you will never try to trick me again like this. Not only did you cheat, but you actually brought her out like this?"

Damien looked at the man and was speechless. Did this man even know what he was talking about? Was he really unaware of his situation, or was he pretending to?

No matter what the case, Damien hoped that nothing would happen. The fight was getting more and more chaotic; if this went on, then something might really happen.

And no sooner did he finish having this thought, than Brad raised his hand and punched Dale on the side of his head.

Bang!

Wait...thats—

That hit was a dangerous one.

"Ah!" The man who was hit slumped on the floor; his eyes rolled back in his sockets, and he let out a gurgling sound.

"Now do you understand that you shouldn't have ignored the rules?" Brad asked angrily. Because he was lost in momentum, he did not notice that the man on the ground had long stopped moving.

"Hey–what's wrong?" Colby, who stood next to Brad, noticed that something was amiss; he looked at Dale, who was lying on the floor without moving, and sensed something was amiss. "Something's wrong; he is not moving."

"What do you mean?" Brad turned and looked at Dale, only to find him unresponsive on the ground. "This—I didn't do it!"
