I finished eating while watching Syr working in the distance. Occasionally, she would turn to look at me, which made me a bit uneasy. Even though I'm strong, it's impossible not to feel nervous.
Honestly, this is dangerous.
I don't want to get involved with this woman right now.

I left more money than necessary on the table and got up to leave. As I took quick steps toward the exit, I noticed Syr walking toward me, following me.
As soon as I got outside, she called out to me.

"Yes?" I turned to her with a smile. Her eyes locked deeply onto mine. I looked back into her eyes and didn't look away. The corners of Syr's lips curved into a smile, and she spoke in a pleasant tone.
"Come back again sometime. I'd like to talk with you more. Even though we didn't talk much, I enjoyed the conversation."
"Of course, I'll come back more often. Thank you for the meal."
"See you later." Syr waved as I walked away.
I felt her gaze on my back until I turned into a nearby alley.

After finishing my meal, I headed toward the mansion. I even considered returning to my room to write more but decided against it.
I reached the mansion's entrance and found Ais standing before the gate.
Something I had forgotten came to mind when I saw her from a distance.

I let out a long sigh and walked toward Ais with a smile.
"Ais, it's great to see you here," I said.

She was wearing an elegant white dress and was beautifully made up. The wind played with her hair, making her even more attractive in my eyes. The moonlight illuminated her as if she were on a stage.
I was breathless for a moment.
"So beautiful," I said instinctively.
I'm not sure if Ais heard me, but she immediately blushed.
I approached and opened the gate.
"Come in. Goddess Hestia is waiting for us inside."
"Excuse me."
"Make yourself at home." I extended my hand to Ais, and she hesitantly took it.
Her hand was cold.
I led her inside, holding her hand. When Hestia saw me holding her hand, Ais immediately let go and cleared her throat. "Sorry for the intrusion, Goddess Hestia," she said respectfully.

For a moment, I thought I heard Hestia click her tongue.
I shot a stern look at Hestia, and she smiled. "Don't worry. You're always welcome here," she said, forcing a smile at Ais.
Ais seemed suspicious of her smile but said nothing.
I sat across from Ais while Hestia sat beside me.
Hestia looked at the two of us with evident irritation in her gaze.
